Galaxy M12 with 90Hz display, 48MP camera, 6Ah battery Launched in Nepal

 

Samsung Galaxy M12, the successor to last year’s Galaxy M11 has been launched in Nepal In many ways, the Galaxy M12 is similar to the recently launched Galaxy A12. However, it has a much larger 6000mAh battery, energy-efficient Exynos 850 SoC, and a 90Hz refresh rate display. Let’s look into details about what the Samsung Galaxy M12 has to offer including its official price in Nepal.

Overview

Starting with the display, Galaxy M12 has a 6.5-inch Infinity-V PLS LCD screen with a smoother 90Hz panel. It has an aspect ratio of 20:9 and 720p (1600 x 720-pixel) resolution. The notch houses the 8MP selfie shooter. Design-wise, the all-metallic back comes with micro motifs and curved edges to provide a better grip.

The rear camera setup features a quad-camera array. The primary sensor is a 48MP lens. Other sensors include a 5MP ultra-wide lens, a 2MP depth sensor, and a 2MP macro lens.

 

Powering the device is the Exynos 850. It is built on an energy-efficient 8nm architecture but isn’t very powerful with 8x Cortex-A55. The RAM options are 4GB, and 6GB. Similarly, the built-in storage options include 64GB and 128GB. Furthermore, there’s a dedicated microSD slot for memory expansion.

As for the battery, Galaxy M12 runs on a 6000mAh unit. It is rated to deliver up to 58 hours of talk time on a 4G network. Other features include a side-mounted fingerprint sensor and 15W fast charging.

Galaxy M12 is available in Nepal starting from the 25th of March where its price for the 4/64GB variant will start at Rs. 18,499. The higher-end 6/128GB variant costs Rs.22,499
